BHUTA-HELD ZU PFERD.
Indien, Karnataka, 18. Jh. H 24,8 cm.
Zweiteilig gegossene Figur eines Helden aus dem Bhuta-Kult zu Pferd.
Er hält beide Arme angewinkelt, in einer Hand eine Keule. Der kräftig
modellierte Kopf wird von einem scheibenförmigen Diadem gekrönt.
Das Pferd steht auf einer ausgeschnittenen Plinthe. Krone und Keule
sind teilweise mit Silber eingefasst. Sockel. Wohl ein Attribut verloren.
