217 EXZELLENTE FIGUR DER GRÜNEN TARA. Tibetochinesisch, Yuan, 13./14. Jh. H 19,2 cm. Bronze mit Türkiseinlagen, die Urna ist in Silber ein- gelegt. Die Göttin sitzt in lalitasana auf einem umlaufend fein ausgearbei- teten Lotosthron, die Rechte in varada-mudra. Die Linke hielt ursprüng- lich eine Lotosblume. Der Dhoti ist reich mit feinen gravierten Mustern geschmückt, ein Lächeln erhellt das elegant zur Seite geneigte Gesicht. Sockelplatte verloren. Provenienz: Alte Schweizer Privatsammlung, erworben in den 1990er Jahren.
