It was often visited by the great and powerful of this world. For example, Winston Churchill, Walter Rothschild, and Kings Edward VII and George V were among their clients. Ward was most famous for its taxi- dermy of birds and big game trophies, but they also produced practical items, often referred to as Wardian furniture. These objects are made from animal parts and are functional. The present grizzly bear skull is an example of this.
