Ihr Grundstein wurde in den 1960er-Jahren gelegt, Ankäufe wurden oft in Asien getätigt (Hong Kong, Bangkok). Bedeutende Teile der Sammlung waren über mehrere Jahrzehnte in der Genfer Altstadt ausgestellt. Die Objekte tragen alle eine Inventarnummer und wurden in verschiedenen Heften und Büchern über die Zeit handschrift- lich inventarisiert. Rechnungen sind aber nur ganz selten vorhanden. Lots 156 – 241 are the second part of an extensive collection of Asian art fromGeneva, founded in the 1960s. Purchases have often been made in Asia (Hong Kong, Bangkok). An important part of the collection has been exhibited for decades in the old town of Geneva. The objects all have inventory numbers and have been recorded by hand over the years in numerous notebooks.
