Hirschhorn, die Knöpfe des Ge- wandes sind eingelegt in schwarzem Horn. Typische Darstellung eines Holländers mit hochgezogenem, rundem Hut. Ein Raubvo- gel sitzt auf seiner linken Hand, in der rechten hält er einen kurzen Stock. Gut gebohrte himotoshi. Proveninez: Aus einer alten Genfer Sammlung. A STAG ANTLER NETSUKE OF A DUTCHMAN. Japan, early 19th c. Height 9.7 cm. Carved in the shape of a stan- ding foreigner with round hat, carrying a large bird of prey on his left hand. Buttons of garment inlaid. Well drilled himotoshi. Der Unsterbliche hält einen Flaschenkürbis (hyôtan) über seiner linken Schulter. Bei Bedarf kann er daraus ein Pferd hervorzau- bern. Rückseitig schöne Alterspatina, schöne himotoshi.
