Einer der bauchigen Töpfe ist in einem kräftigen Bernstein- ton, der andere in einem tiefen Blattgrün glasiert. Die Glasur endet in unregelmässigem Lauf oberhalb des flachen Standbodens. Min. best. Der gelbe Topf verfügt über einen Thermolumineszenz-Test Oxford von 1999. A PAIR OF GLAZED JARS AND COVERS China, Tang dynasty (618–907). H 21.2 cm and 22.8 cm. Earthen- ware with lead glaze. One covered in a rich amber glaze, the other in a deep leaf-green glaze. The glaze falling in an irregular line above the flat base. Minor chips.
