Amida Buddha mit eingelegten Augen, flankiert von den Bodhisattvas Seishi und Kannon. Von einem getreppten Sockel getragen, stehen die Figuren einzeln auf je einer Lotosblüte, die von Wolken getragen wird. Etwas besch. u. rest. Eine Lotoblüte in der Hand haltend steht deR Bodhisattva des Mitgefühls vor einem Nimbus. Rückseitige Inschrift, dass diese Shô-Kanzeon Figur aus dem Innern des Grossen Buddhas in Kamakura stamme (鎌倉大佛 胎內聖観世音大士). A SMALL GILDED BRONZE FIGURE OF SHO KAN- NON Japan, probably 19th/20th c. H 10 cm. Holding a lotus flower in her hand, the Bodhisattva of Compassion—the original manifestation of Kannon—stands before a halo.
