Eighty-five percent of the more than one hundred objects offered in the June auction found buyers. Besides rare meteorites, and space exploration and entertainment memorabilia, the prehistoric fos- sils sold very well. The highest price was achieved by a prehistoric mortal combat between a flying reptile and a primordial fish, captured in limestone over 145 million years ago, which sold for CHF 400 000. An 80-million-year-old, almost completely preserved fossil of a pterosaur sold for CHF 378 000, three times its estimate. The next auction will be held in December 2022. Christian Link is pleased to consult about proposed consignments. 14 1 2 3 4 5 6
