P. 24 Preview of November/December 2023 auctions and important dates In September, my daughters Laura and Jara Koller made their debuts as auctioneers. The third generation is preparing to one day lead our family business into the future! Both Jara and Laura have been working at Koller for several years as heads of the Impressionist & Modern Art, and Swiss Art departments. Together with our other specialists and co-workers, including their two sisters, they are responsible for the extensive range of works we will offer in our upcoming auctions. Some of the highlights of this upcoming auction series are presented on the following pages. Swiss art highlights include two significant groups of works by Albert Anker and Giovanni Giacometti. The Impressionist & Modern Art auction features an important landscape by Camille Pissarro from 1885. A sculpture by Ai Weiwei is a highlight of the Contemporary Art sale. A selection of more than 500 lots of Jewellery andWristwatches is presented on pages 14 to 17. Just in time for Christmas, the Vintage Fashion department presents an exclusive collection of high-quality and rare fountain pens from famous makers such as Montblanc, Namiki and Montegrappa. Works from China, Tibet, Nepal, India and Southeast Asia will be auctioned on 28 No- vember (pages 18/19). Finally, in our third edition of ‘Out of This World’, organised in partnership with Christian Link and his ‘Wunderkammer’, we present another icon from the world of dinosaurs: the exceptionally well-preserved skull of a young Triceratops. In total, we will hold ten saleroom auctions between 27 November and 7 December as well as numerous online auctions.
