Koller Review 2024

3 torically significant portrait of Hodler, painted by Cuno Amiet in 1897 for the influential collector Oscar Miller, which ultimately fetched CHF 1.3 million, one of the highest prices ever realised for a work by Cuno Amiet. To be able to auction one of Hodler’s late Lake Geneva views is an absolute highlight for a Swiss auction house. The fact that we were able to offer two of these rare landscapes, as well as one of his most famous portraits, was a unique privilege and a strong vote of confidence, for which we are very ap- preciative.
