DEAR READER Over the past year, we once again had the privilege of working with many exception- al works of art. Among the earliest was an impressive Cycladic idol dating back some 4500 years; among the most recent, ‘Head No. 1’, a mirrored stainless-steel head creat- ed by Not Vital in 2013. On the following pages, we present a selec- tion of highlights that have passed through our hands. Each of these works is associ- ated with a particular story – stories that also connect us personally to the objects themselves: tales of rediscoveries, new art-historical insights, and many fascinating encounters with collectors and internation- al experts. At the end of this publication, you will find an overview of our 2026 auction programme. We are grateful that numerous outstand- ing works have already been entrusted to us for our forthcoming auctions. We look forward to presenting them to you soon at our auction previews at Hardturmstrasse in Zurich, in our newly opened ‘City Space’ at Rämistrasse 5, as well as in our highlights exhibitions in Geneva, Düsseldorf, Munich and Paris.
