In life, the animal was about 2 meters long. Chirostenotes was probably an omnivore or herbivore, although the beak is not as heavily constructed as in the Asian Oviraptoridae. The presented here specimen is of the highest quality, showing only about 2-5% restorations and displaying a beautiful caramel brown patina all over.
