1889* SOKOL GLOVE BY NICOLAI BUDARIN 11.5 x 11.5 x 25 cm Provenance: German private collection A glove that was in space! This left-handed glove is numbered and lettered in Russian. The hand and finger por- tion of the glove consist of a custommolded rubber hand that is strengthened with leather in the palm. Built of nylon, rubber, and leather, the glove has Budarin‘s initials printed in Cyrillic on its cuff. Nikolai Budarin(1953) is a retired cosmonaut, a veteran of three extended space missions aboard the MIR Space Station and the Interna- tional Space Station.
