Jade, zehn aus Shoushan-Steinen, sechs aus Elfenbein, wovon eines in ei-
ner Schatulle, zwei aus Speckstein, neun aus Horn, wovon eines in einem
Schubbehälter und eines aus einem dunkelgrünen Stein. Die Siegel lauten
u.a. auch auf Beinamen von Wu Zhongxin wie Liqing und Nugong sowie
auf seine Tochter Xunshu und den Sohn Shunshu. (29)
Wu Zhongxin (March 15, 1884 - December 1959) was a government
official and a general of the Republic of China, with close ties to Chiang
Kai-Shek. He was a member of the CC Clique (Central Club Clique),
one of the political factions within the Guomindang. As the chairman of
the Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission he was present at the
enthronement ceremony of the 14th Dalai Lama in Lhasa in 1940. He held
offices such as the Xinjiang Provincial Government before he retreated
to Taiwan. Thereafter he was still regarded as an elder statesman with
political influence.
